There's likely to come a time in your career where you find yourself wanting more or different.
You might look to change jobs, invest in a course or take up a new hobby - but the wanting persists.
You have an itch and it needs to be scratched - you need to know if you’re living to your true potential.
This is where working with a qualified coach can be of enormous value.
When you commit to making transformational change you will become dynamic in how you lead yourself and others and how you approach your career.
You will feel aligned in the decisions you make and actions you take.
You will feel confident about what you know and have conviction in the work you do and what you can offer.
When you satisfy this need, you will sleep well at night and wake up feeling fresh and optimistic about the day ahead.
Your health and wellbeing will be a key priority and you will have boundaries in place so you can operate from a place of kindness and strength.
You will experience happiness and joy regularly.
You will be clear on expectations and take responsibility for what belongs to you and let go of what does not.
You will learn, challenge and collaborate.
Communication will be the glue that holds your relationships together: it is open, fluid, constant and quite often messy - and that will be perfect.
You will feel empowered to own you career, inspire those around you and influence sustainable change that is good for all.
You will truly love what you do and the people you work with.
You will create an environment that allows you to thrive.
You will be unstoppable!
When navigating your leadership journey, adopting the philosophy of "take no shit but do no harm" becomes a powerful guiding principle.
When you find yourself excessively dependent on others for decisions, validation, approval, and advice, a sense of vulnerability and loss of control can pervade. This reliance may lead to an unhealthy focus on things that don't matter, diverting attention from what truly does. This way of operating comes from a place of fear and is highly ineffective.
Dynamic leadership demands the cultivation of strong internal resources. It calls for an unwavering inner certainty that reflects in the external environment. Success requires operating from a place of love, where strength and kindness harmoniously shape your approach. This is the space where you shine brightest, working at your best to inspire and influence those around you. In this space, you embody effectiveness, courage, and boldness, ultimately transforming the way you lead.

Transformational change takes time. It takes a multi-layered approach where lessons build on each other from interaction to interaction. It is sometimes challenging and quite often uncomfortable - and that’s exactly what you want.
It is when you venture outside of what is comfortable that you learn the most. This investment in yourself isn’t one that needs to be repeated, it will take you to the next level - you can only move forward from here.
“Shelley helped me with practical advice I could easily apply every day and week. She made it tangible, but also grounded in text books and theoretical frameworks to match my learning style. We covered a lot, from understanding my and others’ disc profiles to feedback conversations to meditation, and I know Shelley has a lot more in her toolkit to adapt to different people’s styles and development goals. Highly recommend."

“Through Shelley’s leadership coaching, I have been able to develop from a manager into a leader through developing strong communication skills and strategic thinking. From someone who used to do all the doing and couldn’t speak to more than a small group, to someone who is leading the people in my charge and confident in public speaking to hundreds of people.”
~ Ben White

As a leader who got it terribly wrong in her early years, Shelley appreciates the challenges that come with managing performance, policies and processes alongside people, culture and wellbeing.
Since leaving her corporate role 2015 she has devoted her time to empowering leaders to drive their development journey and create strong team cohesion. Her focus revolves around the need to transform over transact and build capability over dependency.
Shelley is a Master Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Spiral Practitioner which allows her to take a holistic approach when working with leaders to connect head, heart and gut. She holds a Diploma in Leadership Coaching and Mentoring and is certified in LSI, DiSC, Roche Martin Emotional Intelligence, Values Pendulum and Green Belt Six Sigma.
She is a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and has clocked over 1300 hours of one on one leadership coaching.
Shelley doesn’t consider herself a writer but has authored three books: The Direction Dilemma, why knowing what you want makes you a better leader; The Dynamic Leader, become the leader others are inspired to follow; and, Feedback, seek it, give it, connect with it. She uses her writing as a disciplined way of growing herself and deepening her knowledge. She is forced into the detail, even though her preference is big picture, and feels the discomfort she encourages her clients to sit with.
She believes the journey to dynamic leadership is lifelong, it's exciting and challenging - and the most fulfilling adventure one can embark on in their career.
When I lead with fear I am on ‘high alert’ and ready to fight, defend, prove wrong, criticise and judge. I carry constant stress and tension in my body, become easily paranoid and struggle to trust those I work with. I stay far away from emotions and vulnerability - it is in my head where I feel most safe...but oh so tired!
When I lead with love I hold people accountable for their behaviour, but avoid criticising who they are as human beings. I communicate openly about my limitations and failures and take responsibility for what’s within my control. I share my expectations and uphold my boundaries with strength and kindness and I create the space for others to do the same.
When I lead with 'love', I am open, curious and accepting. I am filled with energy and optimism and my self-talk reminds me that ‘everyone is doing the best they can with the resources they have’.
